When The Toyota Saltwater Fishing Expo debuted three years ago, the buzz from the fishing industry was simply this: That’s a great idea, a show devoted to saltwater fishing, in the heart of a region chock-full of saltwater anglers.

The expo —taking place Friday through today, March 20 through 22, at the Garden State Exhibit Center in Somerset—is the Northeast’s only saltwater fishing show this side of New England.
