It’s the most affordable and convenient boat show locally.

Celebrating its 10th year, the New Jersey Boat Sale & Expo rolls into FirstEnergy Park, home of the Lakewood BlueClaws baseball team, through today in Lakewood.

Produced by the Marine Trades Association of New Jersey, the show is fun for all ages.

The event features new and pre-owned boats for every budget, and boat accessories.

The show has tripled in size since it began, and features one of the best selections and some of the best prices of the year, including end-of-season specials.

This is the chance for a deal and to compare many vessels all in one place, and speak with the experts from the different boat dealers in one shot.

Many different boats are on display.

Various exhibitors are on hand.

Activities for kids are also on hand at the Kids Cove from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Some of those activities are only available at certain times, but include: the Turtle Tank, featuring sea turtles; Re-Clam the Bay, where they can learn about shellfish gardening; the Lakewood Blueclaws' "Kids Run the Bases," where they can run the bases on a genuine minor league baseball field; a chance to meet Buster, the Blueclaws' mascot; face painting; an exhibit from New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium, where the kids can craft their own cork boats to test float and take home; mini golf; and Boating Education and Rescue, a junior boaters' workshop about safety where adults can also learn.

Food, refreshments and much more will also be featured.

The Marine Trades Association of New Jersey is a nonprofit organization for marine businesses, dedicated to promoting, protecting and advancing the recreational marine industry and waterways in the Garden State.

If you're interested in boats, don't miss this event!
