This is a must see video. It proves what I have been saying for years: That what we are putting in the water is causing fish populations not to rebuild like they should, even with robust spawning stock biomass. This is what I think is affecting a lot of estuarine-depending species.  Could summer flounder be one? Scientists are seeing similar results in other areas all over the world with sewer discharges and pollutants.

This NY Sea Grant report (that the video is based on) blames detergents and pharmaceuticals. It talks about the winter flounder in Jamaica Bay being 9 to 1 female and that males have female genes.  I have requested a copy of this report.
