when he saw the
baitfish swimming along
the bulkhead while
grass shrimping.
The bloods and shrimp
were fished for white
perch that swam abundant
in rivers like the Mullica.
The bloods would be
fished for striped bass
once striper season was
opened March 1 in
bays and rivers. Annual
gift certificates to the
shop were going to be
awarded for the year’s first
stripers weighed-in.
