fished the end of the incoming and the start of the outgoing friday night in the reach. Used all live bunker and heads. Had 17 stripers up to 23 lbs and all the blues you wanted up to 8 lbs. Went home got a couple of hours sleep and went again early saturday morning for the same tide in the same general area. Had all the bluefish you wanted again, but could not get a bass. The bass where there but they would not stay with a bait, they would take it run like hell and then just spit it. The fish are here and they will only be getting bigger so tight lines. |
