Email: Fred Lander Delaware Bay
Hit the bay yesterday for opening day of flounder season. Not too good. Couple of shorts, a small blue and some sharks. Started at Cross Ledge, nobody there, except a couple of drumfishing boats, and we didn't hook much. Headed to the Maul, and two or three of the head boats were there, but more so on the Delaware side, where we didn't go, because didn't have the new Delaware saltwater license. Still, no luck. Moved in toward the stakes off Fortescue, and again, not much biting. Winds were a little stiff, seas were a little rough, and water was dirty, not good conditions. Maybe they'll do better today in calmer conditions.
