Email: Joe Michalowski Offshore Joe Michalowski and his son Rob brought in a 480lb Thresher Shark to the Bay Park Fishing Station in Oceanside, NY aboard the Stogie II, Hydra Sports 24' Center Console. It was caught 40 miles off shore. The battle started at 10:30 AM and did not conclude until shortly after 2:30 PM. It then took 5 hours to bring the fish into Bay Park for the weigh in.
