More than 1,000 landlocked salmon, ranging from 10.9 to 19.2 inches in length, were recently stocked in Tilcon Lake in Allamuchy Mountain State Park, Lake Aeroflex in Kittatinny Valley State Park and Wawayanda Lake in Wawayanda State Park.
The salmon were obtained from Massachusetts as 8-inch yearlings and grown to an average of 15 inches at the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife's Hackettstown State Fish Hatchery over the past year.
