The Division of Fish and Wildlife encourages all New Jersey commercial and recreational fishermen to attend the wind energy meeting in Point Pleasant, N.J., on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 6 p.m.
The U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has announced that 343,833 acres off the coast of New Jersey and New York will be offered for commercial wind energy development in a competitive lease sale on Nov. 9, 2015.
