Since the New Jersey Marine Fisheries Council met recently on April 13 and no additional information is available in regards to moving forward with any changes to the 2017 summer flounder recreational regulations, Acting Chair Dick Herb has decided to postpone the May 4 council meeting to later this month.
No date or location has been chosen at this time as the council awaits any decisions from the ASMFC meetings next week.
If necessary, the council will hold an emergency meeting to discuss potential summer flounder regulations pending those ASMFC decisions.
