Abu Garcia
has long been
known for
manufacturing
reels, but has been making waves in the market lately, with the introduction of new reels, and rods.

Take the Revo Beast,
for example, in the
photo at right.

It won the award for best new freshwater reel this year at the International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades.

That reel, additional reels, and rods that the company introduced at the convention, in July, are now being introduced to retail stores.

The reels include the Blue Yonder, for surf fishing, in the photo at left, and the Striper Special, for inland striped bass.

All of those are conventional reels.

The company is also introducing four Orra spinning reels to stores.

Orra was previously a line of conventional reels, and now the spinning reels were added.

The rods being introduced to shops are the Veritas and the Fantasista Regista.

The Fantasista already debuted in stores, and sold out, and new supplies will reach stores in January.
