Tony Maja's
Trolling Bungee System

By now, you’re probably familiar with Tony Maja’s products, especially the bunker spoons for striped bass fishing, but also the rods, reels, out-rodders and even line for trolling the spoons.

But Maja produces additional products.

They include the Trolling Bungee System, shown in the photo.

A bungee is attached to the downrigger weight or a planer, causing the trolled lure or bait to pulsate "with the most natural
motion possible,” the company’s website says.

To attach the downrigger or planer, a snap with a ball bearing is included on one end of the bungee.

A release clip is on the opposite end.

The line is fed through the release clip, and the clip releases the line when a fish hits, allowing the angler to reel in the catch.

The bungee replicates the action of a bunker-spoon rod, the company says.

Maja's additional products include a trolling safety line, bead swivels, replacement hooks, stinger hooks, split rings, bunker-spoon keels, Monel trolling wire and steel trolling wire.
