A rubber worm
is a rubber worm is
a rubber worm,
you might think.

But this is the
21st century.

BioSpawn, the maker of the ExoStick rubber worm, creates bass-fishing products inspired by 21st century technology, the company says.

Bass have seen thousands of stick baits, as worms like this are called.

But they’ve never seen one like this, the company says.

ExoStick is a scented, 5-inch stick bait made for extra wobble.

It features a shape like a jointed exoskeleton and a tail slightly narrower than the head that enhances action like no other.

Two versions are available, the ExoStick XT and the ExoStick Pro, in various colors.

The worms can be fished Texas-rigged, Carolina-rigged, wacky-rigged, drop-shotted or shaky-headed.

The technology the company uses is 3D printing, a type of manufacturing enabling the baits to be molded in unusual detail

Copying another company’s artificial bait would be easier, cheaper and faster than innovating a company’s own, BioSpawn says.

But the company believes that bass fishing products should evolve, and through these changes, anglers will get better lures.

BioSpawn’s approach to bass fishing is simple, it says.

“We look at what bass feed on and ask ourselves a simple question: If we could manipulate the genes of those organisms and give them attributes that would stimulate bass to strike, what would we tweak?” it says.

This isn’t your dad’s rubber worm.
