Catfish might get
less respect than
some catches.

Until you tie into
a 50-pounder.

The size is partly the reason many anglers think catfish should be taken seriously.

Rippin Lips takes
the bottom-feeders
seriously.

“Serious Catfish Gear” is the company’s motto.

Rippin Lips is introducing the SuperCat Long Range Rods, spinning poles built for long casting from shore to the whisker-faces.

The company, maker of catfish tackle and bait, already produced different rods for catfishing.

This new series, made up of eight lengths and actions, are two-piece, economically-priced, fiberglass poles with features like long length and an extended butt to catapult casts.

The type of fiberglass, named S-Glass, is a lighter but stronger and stiffer material for an optimal blend of strength, smoothness and sensitivity, the company says.

Features also include a white rod tip that also glows, for visibility during daytime and nighttime.

The Long Range Rods are part of the SuperCat series of catfish rods the company already made.

“SuperCat has become one of the most trusted names in catfish rods,” catfishing expert John Jamison said.

The SuperCat Long Range Rods are impressive catfish poles, especially considering the affordable price, he said.

At press time, the Long Range Rods were yet to be included on the Rippin Lips website.
