Have you noticed that lures are becoming more lifelike? Yes, you say? No you haven’t. Unless you’ve seen Zelldo Lures. The company is obsessed with details, and makes lures the hard way, it says. Painting a set of the lures, for instance, takes 10 days. The clear coating, a polyurethane resin, is done in five layers to be clear and hard, and extremely durable, the company says. The 3D eyes have outstanding detail, and never fall off, it says. To make the bodies, Zelldo uses a polyurethane, hand-pouring it. The polyurethane is proprietary to the company, and the lures are solid, not hollow. That’s obvious, because of the hand-pouring, and the solid bodies, Zelldo says, make the lures more durable than hollow plastic lures that other companies make. The lure bodies are entirely handmade. All the components on the lures are the highest-quality available, the company says. Appearance is important, but whether the lures catch fish is most important, of course. So the company carefully tests each lure for that, it says. The lures will become available at several U.S. stores in August, Dominic Zelldo says. Zelldo Lures are also available online from the company. For more info about the lures, visit the Zelldo website. Follow Zelldo Lures on Facebook. |
