Ahi Live Deception Jigs | ||||
The whole idea about a jig is that it imitates a baitfish. Making a hunk of metal look like a baitfish might seem difficult. But Ahi has come up with a new idea. The company this year introduced Live Deception Jigs. The latest technology, the company says, was used to laser-print a real image of a live baitfish onto the jig. “This is not a wrap,” Ahi says. This creates an extremely realistic finish certain to fool the most wary fish, it says. The laser not only produces the greatest detail, but also creates a finish that’s one of the most resistant to chips and peeling, Ahi says. The jigs can be fished for catches from sea bass to striped bass to tuna and more. The lures can be jigged, like in a Yo-Yo motion, cast or trolled. Live Deceptions are available in 1 to 8 ounces in four colors: anchovy, sardine, blue mackerel and green mackerel. The jigs, incredibly tough, Ahi says, feature wire-through rigging, heavy-duty split rings and Mustad hooks. For more info, visit Ahi’s website. |
