Coastal TWS 200

The size and strength of fish is part of saltwater fishing’s attraction.

But you want the fish on the lightest tackle.

Daiwa’s Coastal TWS 200, introduced this past year, is a saltwater baitcaster built for light line with a low profile, like a freshwater reel.

Corrosion-resistant bearings, high-strength gears and an aluminum spool help
the aluminum-bodied reel stand up to saltwater.

Built for 14- to 30-pound mono line or 40- to 55-pound braid, the reel also features the company’s T-Wing System or TWS that Daiwa introduced in previous reels.

T-Wing is a level-wind system that shoots the line through a wider hole on the cast for more distance.

On the retrieve, the line is reeled through a smaller hole for level-winding precision.
