Sebile Magic Swimmer

Patrick Sebile, founder of the lure company Sebile, originally made the Magic Swimmer to fish for northern pike, muskies, largemouth bass and similar catches in freshwater.

But the lure, the company’s most known, became popular for striped bass in saltwater.

So the company redesigned the lure for 2017 with striped bass, a bigger fish, in mind.

The looks were made to be more realistic, including the gill plates and scales.

But the lure was especially revamped to be stronger, including a reinforced body and stronger hook eyelets, split rings and hooks.

A worm screw is included on the rear to attach a finesse worm for even better action: a wider, snake-like swimming.

A new floating version is also being introduced.

The lure is now available in floating, slow-sinking and fast-sinking.

It comes in several sizes from 1 ½ ounces to a large 5 ounces, and different colors.

A soft version has also been redesigned for 2017.

All the new Magic Swimmers have been introduced at stores already.

At press time, not all the models were included on Sebile’s website.

Look for them to be included eventually.
