Temple Fork Outfitters introduced a Trout-Panfish Series of Rods this past year.

The spinning rods, six of them from 5 ½ feet to 7 feet for 2- to 6-pound line, include lightweight guides made from stainless steel.

Available in one- or two-piece, the graphite rods include a cutting-edge reel seat and premium cork handles, the company says.

Most anglers fished for catches like panfish first in their lives.

These rods are higher-quality, lighter and more sensitive than the pole you originally fished, probably.

Temple Fork aims to make high-end yet affordable rods that are practical and include no unnecessary accoutrements that would add cost.
